Yes shipping is high, this item is oversize classification when packaged due to length. Cost is an estimate and may be lower or higher once packaged, if lower you may receive a partial shipping refund after shipment. IF higher you will be asked whether you want to cover the difference or reverse the transaction. Since I have no box for this, it will be essentially wrapped in shrinkwrap, labeled, and sent with no protection. Consider pickup in east TN if the shipping cost does not suit you.
