86-91 rx7 manual transmission chassis tunnel crossmember mounts mount set. These were cut out of a donor manual transmission FC body. FC bodies originally equipped with automatic transmissions had different mounting points in the trans tunnel/chassis than manual-equipped bodies. So if you are doing an auto to manual swap using a manual trans and stock manual crossmember you will find that it doesnt line up with the original auto chassis mounts at all. Having these cutout manual donor mounts lets you weld them into place in your trans tunnel and make your swap much easier….otherwise you have to rig up some sort of bracket to make up the difference. These are the “right” way to do the swap and make it OEM. You will need to prep these by grinding off the extra layers of metal and grind down the edges to weld them on…or I guess you could use rivets or sheet metal screws.
