This is an 04-05 4 port AUTOMATIC trans rx-8 rebuilt engine block w/ accessories. It is currently installed in a car that has been started & test driven but hasn’t been picked up, and will be removed within a few days of purchase. This does not fit any manual trans models or any 06-later models.

SHIPPING/TRANSPORT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THIS ENGINE.

You are buying this engine outright, out the door, with no core exchange required.
This engine built from used major components such as rotors/shaft/iron housings in average condition with some pre existing wear. The build will get used rotor housings with average wear, what I define as “B condition”.
Also built with new oem mazda apex seals & short/long apex springs, oem corner seals/springs, oem cut-to-fit side seals/springs, viton oil orings, thermal pellet for the front eshaft, OEM coolant seals etc., new front/rear main oil seals, new front cover gasket, and new main bearings, new rotor bearings. The original matching auto rear counterweight is included.

Includes oil pan, lower intake manifold media blasted clean internally w/ SSV etc., fuel injectors, water pump, various sensors, brackets, hoses etc.

Will not include OMP, wiring harness, or alternator unless you want to pay extra for those parts to be left on.

Engine end play checked twice during assembly and the coolant seals/passages pressurized to 20psi for half an hour to ensure against leaks/assembly error.
Engine is sold without warranty. Buyer will receive a disc with all the photos of the parts used and assembly, written invoice, and a full paperwork packet of startup and break in suggestions.

Engines must ship semi truck freight on a pallet and only to buyers in the 48 continental US. Freight industry standard is that deliveries go to a business location with ability to unload the pallet from the chest-height semi trailer (dock, ramp, forklift etc.).

 

Freight rates vary weekly depending on destination, weight, whether or not insurance is selected, and carrier/company used, and there is no way for this website to accurately convey freight costs for each viewer. A good estimate for the eastern and central US (east of the Miss. River) is somewhere around $350-450, and western US (west of the Miss. River) somewhere around $500-700.

 

You will have to inquire with me for an estimate or exact quote. Information I need to know in order to generate a quote is:
-zipcode
-is destination a business location or residential area
-is destination limited access, special hours, advance notification required, gated, etc.
-will you unload the pallet from the chest-height semi trailer (dock, ramp, forklift, or 2-3 strong guys by hand)? or do you require optional, higher cost liftgate unloading-to-ground-level?
